After getting my basics from Pulaski Technical College, I attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock where I received my bachelor's degree in Mass Communication/Journalism.
I’m a member of the UA Little Rock chapter of Kappa Tau Alpha, which is the national college journalism honor society. During my time at UA Little Rock, I was the editor of The LR Angle and wrote many articles for the school newspaper, The Forum.
